Introduction

                                                                      

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first blog post.


Firstly, I would like to tell you a little about myself, so my name is Luke McCann and I currently live in the UK in the small but ever growing city of Liverpool, for me having a interest in fashion I feel like it stems from the city I live in, since I was young I always witnessed fashion within my city change which always gave me a reason to keep on trying new ideas and new brands.


You could say that within Liverpool it definitely has brands that are favoured over others by the general public such as, Balenciaga, Lanvin, Dsquared2, and more recently the likes of Valentino, Palmangels and Gucci to name a few. But where there was high fashion Liverpool also has its fair share of streetwear culture in which you'll find most of Liverpool's youth wearing some form of sportswear and branded sneakers, a good example is the "Nike Air Max 95" which can be seen all round Liverpool, in terms of clothing its usually kept to the likes of the global giants Nike and Adidas, but being as big as they are there's still room for other brands like TheNorthFace and Berghaus.


So as you can see I definitely had an upbringing around an idea of "Fashion & Style" and in 2015 I then discovered Instagram and the other forms of social media that gave everyone a platform to show off their personal style which only then opened my eyes up even more to brands that I had never heard of and styles I had never seen before.


Lastly, I would like to talk about my plans with my blog and Instagram account, in which I'll be using my platforms to inform you all on current releases of fashion items whether that's high end or streetwear, as well as documenting my life and my current personal opinions on current trends, and a look into my life in terms of what I wear and what I'm looking forward to in the ever changing styles of the world.
